Looking for a place to launch your boat this summer?
Lake murry is an amazing place to be during the summer, but not everyone who owns a boat lives on the lake or has a dock, so here are just a few of the many public boat ramps Lake Murray has to offer:
Only open on Saturday and Sunday, open from 7am-3pm. A small, wooded recreation area, located on a small cove. It offers a fishing pier and a two-lane boat ramp as well as two picnic shelters.
Also known as Larry Koon Landing. free to the public and open 24hrs. Popular with kayakers, canoeists, and paddleboarders.
Open 9am-8pm everday. A marina, docks/slips, storage. Offers snacks, drinks and boating supplies from batteries and oil, to docking and boating accessories and close access to a multitude of restraunts on the lake.
Open from 7am to 7pm. A single launch ramp, with limited parking.
Honorable Mention:
Open 9am-5pm everyday. Pet friendly, public restrooms, occupies 348 acres and 3 seperate islands.
