Labor Day Weekend is always a special time in Chapin, and the 2026 Chapin Labor Day Weekend Celebration is shaping up to be a full weekend of community events, live music, food, family activities, and plenty of local fun.

The celebration runs September 5–7, 2026, with activities happening throughout the weekend and the annual Labor Day Parade and Festival taking center stage on Monday.

And this year, J King Real Estate is excited to be part of the Chapin Labor Day Parade!

The weekend features several events throughout the community, leading up to the big Labor Day celebration on Monday.

Saturday, September 5

The weekend gets underway with activities including the Fidelis Family 5K, giving runners and families a chance to kick off the holiday weekend together.

Sunday, September 6: Boots on Beaufort

Sunday night brings live music to downtown Chapin with Boots on Beaufort.

The event takes place on Beaufort Street at The Tipsy Toad, with music beginning at 6:00 PM.

The 2026 lineup includes:

Marty McKoy Band: 6:00–7:30 PM
8 Track Country: 8:00–11:00 PM

Monday is the big day!

Chapin Labor Day Parade

The annual Chapin Labor Day Parade begins at 9:30 AM from the United Homes lot at 917 Chapin Road.

This year's theme is:

“Stars, Stripes & Service: Celebrating 250 Years”

The theme honors America's 250th anniversary and celebrates the history, patriotism, service, and community spirit that make this event such a popular Chapin tradition.

The parade brings together local businesses, organizations, schools, families, and community groups for a morning of floats, music, creativity, and hometown spirit.

The Chapin Labor Day Festival

Once the parade wraps up, the celebration continues downtown with the Chapin Labor Day Festival.

The festival takes place around Beaufort Street, Clark Street, and Lexington Avenue and offers something for the whole family.
